Delilah Winder gave up a career as a business analyst and started a one-woman food stand in Philadelphia's historic Reading Terminal Market, where she has received numerous accolades for her culinary prowess -- her legendary macaroni and cheese was deemed best in the nation by the Oprah Winfrey Show. Ms. Winder also participates in various charitable activities such as Pie In the Sky for MANNA and The Food Trust. She serves on the board of the Girl Scouts, with which she has been involved since her childhood. In addition to chairing the African American Chamber of Commerce, her other board memberships include the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, Old City District and Greater Philadelphia Restaurant Purveyors Association. In 2007 she was given the "Most Influential African American Leadership Award."
